Pushkar, the mythological city is surrounded by the Aravali Range on three sides. It is located at 10kms northwest of Ajmer city in the Heritage state of Rajasthan. It is situated at a height of 510 meters above sea level.

The pleasant weather of October and November are considered the best months to travel to Pushkar. During this time this sacred city hosts the most renowned Pushkar Camel fair. This Camel Fair is a one of its kind fair which commences throughout the Kartika month.
